B.P. Gonzizzle had a bad day yesterday.
He, Double S, and I are sitting in church, the service ends, and for no apparent reason, he drops his coffee cup. It lands straight up, causing the coffee to shoot out of it like a volcano. It shot up into his face and got on everyone around him. Luckily, it wasn't hot.
Then later that night, UK loses. Obviously, this wasn't just bad for B.P. Obviously it was bad for all UK fans in general and Tubby Smith and Chuck Hayes in particular. But the game really wore B.P. out. Before it even started he sat on his couch and talked about how nervous he was. By the middle of the first(!) overtime, he was wringing his hands and saying stuff like, "I don't need this kind of stress..." Once UK actually lost he was pretty quiet for the most part. Hours later, though, it would come back to him like a bad dream and he'd mutter, "I can't believe it" under his breath.
Apparently, UK's never made it to the final four since BP has lived in Kentucky. Since he and Double S are moving to Virginia at the end of the summer, this was their last chance. It's interesting to note, however, UK did win the whole thing the year before B.P. came here. It's clear to me that he's been jinxing the Wildcats all this time with his presence.. I expect they'll go all the way next year.
This is the first and last sports related post you'll ever read on this blog.
It was the worst day of my life, I must say. But then I watched the documentary on TLC "The World's Strongest Boy", and I was comforted to know that the shortcomings of my life (Patrick listed the only two) pale in comparison to the future in store for this kid. Oh wait, he'll probably make millions of dollars and women will adore him.
Now I'm back to being depressed.
I almost mentioned the World's Strongest Boy documentary, but I'm trying to forget it. I keep seeing his creepy little abs every time I close my eyes. Ugh.
That's hot.
