Shatner's Version of "Convoy" & "Rocketman" - way cool.  


See, I'd say:
Captain Kirk - No way. Sucks. And so does anyone with any affection for Star Treck.
TJ Hooker - Cool in a very ironic sort of way.
Priceline Commercials - Ditto.
Shatner's latest album. - Cool in an ironic way, but also cool because it's very self-aware, and interesting in parts.

Very cool. Listen to his cover of Pulp's "Common People."  


The Shatner version has actually ruined me for the Pulp's version. His is now the definitive in my mind.
