So, the new dodge ball season starts this Sunday. B.P. Gonzizzle and I began recruitment yesterday. I feel pretty good about the team we're lining up. We still have a couple of phone calls to make, though. And we need to talk about uniforms. We'll be playing on Sunday nights at 6:00 if any of you feel like witnessing man's inhumanity to man writ large.


You should use the slogan, "Got Balls?"  


Your team name could be the ball handlers.  


Seriously, anyone got any comments about dodge ball that don't draw the correlation between balls and testicles? Anyone?

Seriously, it's like your all a bunch of children. I'm completely...

Okay, just kidding. Back to the ball jokes.  


In all seriousness, adult dodgeball is pretty damn fun, and tiring as hell. My arm was pretty sore the next day. Are you in an all dude league? If so, that would make sense. I know how you like some dudes balls flying by your face.

Oh...sorry. Back to being serious. In our league, we have to have 4 girls from our team on the court. Ours aren't former lesbian softball players, but they are pretty good. We may not have the most athletic girls, but we definitely win for best eye candy.  


How can I start a team?  


I don't think we're required to have girls on the team. At least I hope not. I don't say that because I don't think girls can play, I just say it because... because... okay, I don't think girls can play.  


Show up at Crossroads at 6:00 pm on Sunday. There'll be people looking for teams to join, I think.  


Hardik, just post some flyers up around LCC or UK...you will get many responses.  


It's true. That's how some friends of mine found a nanny for their kids. Hobos are suprisingly maternal.  


That and the strange guys who only come out at night from the basement of the dorms.  


We played a team yesterday that had girls on their teams with freakin cannons for an arm. It was insane. I swear they are lesbians hopped up on roids.  


Beaten by girls.  


It happens.
