in which patch talks about his favorite show
I finally got around to buying the first season of Scrubs. I wastched something like eight episodes this weekend. If I'd had the time, I probably could have watched the whole thing, but I'm trying to savor the goodness a while.I was a little worried, buying it. I love Scrubs, but I didn't see much of the first season when it originally aired. I was a late convert. I was worried that maybe it took the show a while to find it's voice. Maybe the first season wouldn't be that funny. Like the Simpsons. If you watch an episode from the first few season of the Simpsons, they're terrible. Not funny at all. I'm suprised the show ever caught on, actually, based on how poor those first few seasons were.
That's not the case with Scrubs, though. From the very first episode, the show had the distinctive voice and timing that it has now. I've mentioned before that it tends to wear it's formula on it's sleeve and is a little predictable, but the character writing easily makes up for those shortcomings.
That is odd, I watched the first half of the season of scrubs, then dwindled off from watching it...
Yeah, but you clearly a tasteless boob.
So what you are saying is...my ecletic taste in tv shows is not good enough for you?
You think you have eclectic taste in everything. Don't make me espouse my theory again.
