Working at a body shop, people sometimes ask me if I see cars with blood in them. I can honestly say that in eight years, I've only seen one car with blood in it. Usually, if an accident is bad enough to draw blood, it's bad enough to total the vehicle - so there's really no reason for us to get the car. Today, however, an insurance agency asked us if we would store a totaled vehicle for a few days. I've never seen a car this badly wrecked in my life. The driver survived, but is in pretty bad shape as I understand it. The car itself was hit in the front passenger side with so much force that the entire car is stretched out about two feet longer than it should be. There's blood on the windshied and the seat. Looking at it makes me a little sick to my stomach. Not the blood so much as just the idea that a car can be hit by another car with that much force.


THIS POST LOOKED LONELY WITH NO COMMENTS...WORKING IN A 911/POLICE CENTER HAS MADE ME NUMB TO THOSE KINDS OF THINGS..THE OTHER DAY MY HUSBAND AND SOME OTHER PEOPLE IN OUR APT BUILDING SAW A WOMAN GETTING SHIT BEAT OUT OF HER AND SHOVED INTO A CAR, AND I WAS ASLEEP.. HE RUNS INTO THE BEDROOM SREAMING ABOUT CALLING THE POLICE AND THE KIDNAPPED WOMAN...AND I WAS LIKE UHM HUH YEAH OK ...AND WENT BACK TO SLEEP....YOU BECOME A LITTLE NUMB TO THINGS... THAT KINDA MAKES ME SAD....
