more facts
Again, these may or may not be true. Found them on the same Delphi message board where I found the others. It amuses me to think they're all true. Plus, when has the internerd ever lied to anyone?
-Some tropical fish can survive in a tank filled with human blood.
-The cigarette lighter was invented before the match.
-Like George W Bush, Mussolini dodged the draft.
-A third of people on personals websites are married.
-Smells are nicer in the right nostril than in the left.
-Baby giraffes fall an average of six feet at birth.
-Barbie's full name is Barbara Millicent Roberts.
-Almonds are a type of peach.
-A US penny is more likely to come up tails than heads, because the heads side weighs more.
-Ketchup was once marketed as a medicine.
-Damascus is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world today.
-The parthenon has 416 pounds of lint in its construction.
-If the pacific ocean were turned over it would have the shape of a buddha.
-The 15th airplane to cross the atlantic ocean was inconsequential.
The first two are interesting. I don't get the third one.
I think the last one is incorrect. I think that there is a city in India that is actually the oldest inhabited city. But that is coming from a anthropology class I had like 3 years ago.
