So, Saturday was my big Halloween party. Sixth annual to be exact. It went really well. There were a few minor annoyances that I've discussed with P.Dirty and Sara. These will be taken care of next year.


It was held in an old barn owned by my friend Greg's dad. Greg and I decorated it in the evenings last week. We didn't have to do much to make it look spooky because... you know... it's an old barn.

We had a haunted trail in this old cornfield next to the barn. It was spooky. See:

There were about 80 people there. Most of them stayed by the bonfire because it was really cold out.


Clark came as Will Ferrel from that cowbell skit on Saturday Night Live.


He even did a number with the band.

Oh, I guess I hadn't mentioned that there was a band. Well... there was. It was One King Train. It consisted of my friends Shawn, Leo, Cam, and Drew:
Shawn is the lead singer. He's usually pretty calm, but he flailed around a lot that night and threw himself into the drums a couple of times:


Sara was the hottest girl there. She was dressed as an angel. Which contrasted nicely with the fact that I was dressed as a devil, I thought:

Dirty was wearing a toga, so I think he was some kind of Roman guy. Or a half-assed ghost. Or a messed-up bed. I'm not sure. I didn't ask.

We had a costume contest. Here are two of the winners.

Brooke won best costume for her waitress outfit and Laura won sexiest contest for her nurse outfit. A guy named Casey won funniest costume for coming as an overweight playboy bunny, but I didn't get a good picture of him.

Jennifer didn't win best costume and was pretty upset about it. She was only one vote shy of tying with Brooke, but don't mention that to her, she's kinda bitter about it.
