weekend
-Friday I decided to drag some stuff out of my attic. I came face to face with the squirrels that live up there. One of them is black. I'm not saying that because I care. I definitely don't. I was just surprised. That's all. After that I made a desert out of ice cream, cool whip, and oreos. Sara ate all of it. ALL OF IT! That was after she snuck into my house and scared the crap out of me.
-Saturday I made Sara breakfast and then I made her go into a comic book store with me. I wanted to see how she'd react. She was unfazed. She laughed at the boobies on the covers and that was about it. There weren't really any weirdos in there on a Saturday morning because I assume they were all home watching cartoons or something. Saw Good Night and Good Luck that evening. I enjoyed it for the most part, but it probably could have done a better job of explaining it's subject matter to the uninitiated. I guess they figured most people unfamiliar with Murrow and McCarthy would probably give the movie a pass. The guy next to me (next to me in spite of dozens of empty seats in the theatre) kept falling asleep. And snoring. Loudly. And when he was awake he was talking and laughing at inappropriate times. He also smelled like beer and a wood stove. All of this made for a very enjoyable movie-going experience.
-Sunday Sara sang at church. She did a really good job. From there we ate with her family and her roommate Brooke. After that we took a nap, made chili, and watched the Sunday night line up. I'm embarrassed to say that on Sunday nights we start watching TV at 7:00 and don't stop until 11:00. It's really very sad.
