best of 2005
The other day I posted Pitchfork's top 50 albums of 2005. I pointed out that out of 50 albums, I owned 6 of them. Well, here's more evidence of my faulty zietgeist meter:
Roger Ebert's top ten movies of 2005. I've seen none of them. I did see Good Night and Good Luck, which got some kind of runner-up something.
Matt Fraction and Joe Casey's top 6 comics of 2005. I own two of them.
So there you go: Patrick Drury, award winning columnist, tasteless moron. (I told you I was gonna start using that "award winning columnist" bit.)
I've seen two out of the ten.
- King Kong
- Crash
I saw King Kong this weekend. I enjoyed the stuff in the Jungle, but the rest of it kind of bored me. And that bit with the ice-skating? Good lord...
