change of plans
Sara and I were supposed to go see Over The Rhine do a Christmas show at The Dame tonight, but it got cancelled because the lead chick got laryngitis. Sara almost cried. Almost.
So now we're gonna put up my Christmas tree, listen to Christmas music, bake Christmas cookies, and make out Christmas style. Making out Christmas style means she pretends to not be disapointed that my kissing is the equivelant of a pair of socks instead of the digital camera she asked for. Also, I call her a "hoe, hoe, hoe" and then laugh myself silly until she finally gets her coat and leaves.
I downloaded some Christmas music off of Itunes. I've got some Johnny Cash, some Nat King Cole, some Frank Sinatra, and some Jackson 5. Oh, and some Smashing Pumpkins. Nothing says Christmas like The Smashing Pumpkins.
While downloading that stuff I found an ep of Arcade Fire and David Bowie together. Holy crap! It features them doing the Arcade Fire song, Wake Up. It's the greatest thing I've ever heard.
I thought Paul singing Christian Aguilara one bar attended evening, was the best thing you ever heard?
You are right about the Smashing Pumpkins though.
I'm fickle.
