I'm working on a project right now with my writing. I'm getting really close to the end of the project and to the point where I can talk about it in more detail. Last night I hit a snag.

The copy of Word I'm using to work on my project came with my laptop. Apparently it was a trial version because last night it let me know my trial was over and I needed to enter a product key to be able to keep using it. I checked online and Word is pretty expensive.

Does anybody have a copy laying around - or does anybody have a multiple users license and wouldn't mind giving up one of the slots? Just checking. I'm not a cheap bastard, I promise. I just wanted to ask before I shelled out the dough.


my dad has a copy (burned) that he let me download onto my computer. if i still have it, and if no one else there can help you, i'll send it along to you.

it might take awhile for me to locate it and then mail it to you, though.  


That would really help me man. I appreciate it. No rush - but the sooner the better.  


Got one, pretty recent, on its way to you now, with that second check I haven't been able to mail to you as of yet. Stupid friggin car broke down. Hopefully you'll get it this week.  


Have you tried Open Office? It's a free and very powerful office suite that's completely compatible with MS Word. You can download it by going to:
