playlist

I'm going to start posting a daily playlist. Except I may not do it daily. Ha! I am unreliable. Tell me what you're listening to in the comment section. Here are the songs that have been in my head and on my ipod since Sunday night (making it a two day playlist. See, I'm already messing with the format. Gah, why do you guys even come here?):

What It's Like - Downhere
Second Season - Five Iron Frenzy
Trumpet SOng - The Swift
The Joke's On Me - Reel Big Fish
No Use Denying - Cool Waters Band

Look at all the money you spent on music that could have been given to the poor...

You don't know, maybe I stole those songs.

Taper Jean Girl - Kings of Leon
Baliness - The Redwalls
Juicebox - The Strokes
Ted's Jam - Robert Randolph & the Family Band
The Tension and The Terror - Straylight Run

you did... ass.

this morning, on my way to work, i had the ol' i-pizzle on "shuffle". well, it's taste in music this morning sucked ass, so i kept fast forwarding its choices until it found something that suited us both.

well, just when i was about to give up, she chose "Open Arms" by Journey. need i include any others?

Shut up, Dirty. I pay for my music. Screw the poor!

“The Wand” - The Flaming Lips
“Steady as She Goes” – Raconteurs
“List of Demands” – Saul Williams
“Confection” – Mommy and Daddy
“Secret Meeting” – The National
“Me and Mia” – Ted Leo and the Pharmacists
“In The Sun” – Joseph Arthur
“I’ll Believe in Anything” – Wolf Parade
“I Was Young When I Left Home” – Bob Dylan

When I finally listened to that Joseph Arthur song, I realized I'd heard it the week before on Scrubs. Sara told me the name of the song and the name of the singer when we heard it that night. If I listened better I would have recognized it when you mentioned using it for Reverb.

Also, I need to find out what the names of the tracks on the CD you gave me are. I recognize some of them, but not all.

Shapes - The Long Winters
Last Love Song for Now - Okkervil River
For The Widows In Paradise, For The Fatherless In Ypsilanti - Sufjan Stevens
So Sweetly Around Me - Page France
Weekends Away - Math and Physics Club
