Random

-The Colonel has a thing on his blog where he list all the DVDs he owns. I don't know why, but I was fascinated with it. So I made my own. Only the site doesn't have the 90's classic The Rock starring Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage. I don't understand that kind of glaring oversight. I'm sure my list is incomplete as I can't seem to remember all the movies I own.

-I'm pretty happy with all my eBay/Buy Patrick's Comics sales. I've made over $300 all together so far. So, you know, I got that going for me...

-Tuesday's Scrubs episodes were great. The premiere two weeks ago was a little weak. I got worried. But the show is back on track and running strong. Sara and I had a heady, intellectual discussion about the danger of Zach Braff beginning to parody himself. At times his JD characters skates the edge of becoming a caricature of himself. Sort of like David Schwimmer did in the mid to late episodes of Friends (except Schwimmer didn't skate the edge, he did a cannonball into the frozen lake).

Watching it last Tuesday, I totally agree with your take on Zack Braff's performance. I can see how something like that could happen, though.

However, I don't think he's taken it too far yet, but he's toeing the line.

last night's Office was hilarious. absolutely.

I agree, the Office was great.

I love Dwight, he rules.

Yeah Roadhouse!

Amanda always makes fun of me because I like that movie so much.

You need to beef up your Kevin Smith collection there buddy. Dogma is great, but you should at least have the Jersey Trilogy.

I would also recommend you buy Red Dawn, everyone should own this movie and it only runs $5-$10.

The first episode last Tuesday was hilarious. The Buddah statue talking to the crucifix. I laughed so hard I worried I'd soil myself.

This week's The Office was gold as well. Everything out of Dwight's mouth was hilarious.

The middle of my list is kind of geeky, but Patrick without a little geekieness is like a day without sunshine.

Roadhouse strange but beautiful movie. It contains the sheer awsomeness of Sam Eliot right next to the over-powering wannabe-ness of Patrick Swayze. It takes place in a rough-neck Roadhouse and contains lots of nudity - but has a strong homosexual undertone in places. Someone needs to write a dissertation on it. Too bad Aquaman wasted his on some Mexican culture something or other.

I saw the DVD list of The Colonel's website. I was starting my own as well. I put in Billy Madison and got bored. So it is a work in progress.

I missed Scrubs this week. Thanks to the miracle of DVR, I can go back and watch them.

Roadhouse was a great movie. It is one of those movies that you get drawn into when it comes on TV, and when I say TV, that usually means TBS. Plus, Kelly Lynch in that movie is HOT!

Dirty likes to point out how you can turn on TBS at any time and see Roadhouse.

Here is how you can add The Rock onto your list....

In the search field, enter 03184 and choose r1. It will show up, and you can select it to your owned DVDs.

You're welcome.

I agree...when I'm up at 2:37 AM and I flip on TNT/TBS and Roadhouse is on...well, let's just say I can't help but to crack open some MGDs and a pack of Marlboro Reds. However, it's a movie I never could muster up the courage to actually carry up to a counter an purchase. I mean, what if someone saw me. I’ve got a rep to protect.

My list is a perfect example of my need to catalogue and organize. Just another way that I can take control my own little world. Sad? Of course it is…

Is that why I felt the need to do it? A desire to catalogue and organize my world? My God, I bet that is it. Do I have OCD or something?

Oh yeah, thanks James.

I got to watch Scrubs on DVR over the weekend, and I have to say that Braff is going a little overboard.

On another note...Gary Busey is the greatest actor ever!!!

When you wake up in the morning, you look like Gary Busey...

's nuts.

You are Gary Busey...

's nuts.

So I look like you. That means I'm not, repeat...not attractive.

Thanks for repeating.

Hahaha, you should check out my list. It's HUGE. And the ladies just love it.

You and your double entendres...
