-Apparently this weekend was the Kentucky Press Association awards banquet. My friend at the Harlan paper emailed me this morning to tell me my award was in the mail. Everyone kept telling me that I should have shelled out the cash to go to the ceremony. I'm still undecided.

-Went and saw The Family Stone last night with Sara and her brother, Sam. I expected to hate it. I actually kind of enjoyed it. It suprised me by actually being about more than the previews let on. I would have enjoyed it even more if it weren't for Sara Jessica Parker and her Velociraptor like appearance and demeanor.

-I forgot to mention that I went back to Kitty's a couple of weeks ago. It was just like I'd never left.
