column

New column up at the Harlan Daily. It's about how ridiculously easy it is to make me happy.

Great article man....In a world where society tells you that everyone is suppose to be a rock or movie star by the age of 20 we need to be prepared for a world of disappointed and unsatisfied people. It's good to see that you take joy in the small and simple pleasures of life. I too try to follow Henry David Thoreau's philosophy of "Simplify, Simplify." For me, I bring it down to this: Good friends, good family, good food, good drink, good God. Everything else is just something I have to do, in order to do what I really want to do.

So bravo on the article.

Take my advice, stop hugging little boys. It only leads to a world of trouble.

Michael Jackson

Thanks Colonel. I think we share the same philosophies on life. On a side note you've just shattered P.Dirty's dream of being a rockstar.

And whoever compared me hugging my nephews to Michael Jackson diddling kids should be prepared to be pushed down some stairs and set on fire.

I love this column.

There's no defense against getting pushed down the stairs and set on fire. So it's best to just belly up to the bar and take your medicine.

Thanks Stephanie!
