weekend

-Friday night I made a pilgrimage back to Kitty's. Sara came with me and E and F met us there after a while. It was nice. Real quiet for a while. Just Sara, me, and the favored bartender. We met his new girlfriend and I gave him car advice. Once when Sara went to the bathroom he looked at me and mouthed "Wow" and did that thing where you make the shape of an hour glass with your hands.

-Saturday Sara and I went out to dinner with a couple from church. They're both hair dressers and have taken a real interest in giving Sara advice on her new career choice. We had a blast. We had some good italian food, laughed a lot, and then went back to their house for a while. Their basement was set up as a game room and they have a Ms. Pac Man game, one of the old table-top ones. I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to leave. If Sara's chosen profession means I'll one day have a Ms. Pac Man game in my house, then I'm completely on board.

-Sunday after church Sara and I met Dirty at Shamrocks for lunch and a few beers. It was a lot of fun. We stayed long enough to see the changing of the wait staff. It's very ceremonial. Sara had more fun than anybody but that's all I'll say. I am the soul of discretion. And battered fear.

I went to dinner at a CiCi's pizza here in Richmond. They've got the table top version of ms pac man, too... PLUS they've got a table top version of Galaga, one of my favorite "golden-age" games. It was the best fifty cents I had spent in a long time.

I love me some Ms. Pac Man. Never been to Cici's Pizza, but the commerical makes me want to punch someone smaller and weaker than me.
