donkey plug
If you enjoyed part one of our greatest albums of all time game, you may want to head over to Jame's blog and participate in his greatest films of all times game. Try not to give him a hard time for being so unoriginal. He's sensitive.
On a related note, The Colonel posted a link to the 50 greatest independant films of all time according to Empire Online. The Colonel has seen 26 of them. I've seen 15. He has sooooo much more indie cred than I do. I'm suprised he doesn't wear horn-rimmed glasses and girl's jeans. Also, did you know he listens to Radiohead? It's true.
Don't be frontin' on my indie cred..."It's hard out here for a Grup."
I've seen 14 of them so I'm not quite as cool as you.
One of Chris' favorites of all time is #18, Withnail and I. I had mocked him lots because I thought he had made it up. It doesn't sound real. But obviously he got the last laugh.
Suck it! I'm cooler than both of you, I've seen 16!
Clearly I'm drunk with power...
or maybe I'm just drunk.
I don't remember Withnail from the list. I'll have to go look again.
Scotty's cooler than me.
We'll this is awkward.
I have seen 14 out of 50. Does that make me cool yet?
Not yet!
18!!! Hooray! Honestly, I think "Amores Perros" put me over the edge - spanish speaking and all.
Oh yeah, and Donnie Darko sucks!!!
There were actually a lot of movies on the list I didn't realize were indie.
Yeah, I really wanted to like Donnie Darko because all the cool kids say it's so good. It just made me dislike that Gyllenhal kid. Thank God Brokeback Mountain came along and redeemed him for me...
Blasphemy! You really don't like Donnie Darko? I mean what's not to like? The movie has so much going for it: troubled teens making out, a large demonic rabbit, a cool soundtrack, time travel, the apocalypse, and a nod to Graham Green's "The Destructors".
Not liking Donnie Darko is akin to thinking Counting Crows are the best band in the world. I mean, come on...
I have seen 27 of them but I now feel a little less cool. But still cooler then all of you guys.
Colonel, I never said they were the best band in the world. Why do you have to stretch the truth to make your point?
Hardik, being cooler than anyone on this blog will be the easiest thing you do all day.
