true tales of tuesday night

-The restaurant that Sara is going to be working at in Nicholasville had a dry run last night where the employees could invite their friends and family to come eat free food. I went because I love Sara and wanted to support her. And because I love free food, even when it's from a restaurant I don't particularly like.

-Watched Scrubs last night. Enjoyed the whole Deja-vu thing and thought it was interesting that they seemed to be addressing the no-doubt-common criticism that the show is very formulaic. The second episode, the one that was a rerun, was one of my favorites because of the shot of the ostrich wearing the red hat. Next week, there are two new episodes and one is the season finale.

-I was going through a bunch of old crap for a yard sale and stumbled upon a box of video tapes. One of them had a movie I made in high school with my best friend Jamie. It was called the Lawrenceburg Anthologies. I decided to show it to Sara. Bad idea. Basically, the tape was me, weighing eighty pounds, wearing a little ponytail (even though I didn't have long hair), fake glasses (yeah, I know), and lip-synching to old Christian rock songs with an electric guitar around my neck (which I couldn't play). It was humiliating. She laughed. Then cried. Then laughed some more. I'm pretty sure I not only killed any chance of her ever finding me sexy again, but chopped that chance into bits and ate it fava beans and a nice chianti.

Sara will start calling you "The man who throws pinecones at the sun."

Ha! I laughed really hard at that part. Some things are just always funny.

She wanted to know if you still have a copy or if mine is the only one still in existence.

I have mine bronzed and in a showcase. Mr. snazzy techno wizard, you need to take the video to church (I'm sure they have the equipment) and digitize the video tape and put some segments up on the blog and elsewhere on the internet.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever do that.

We can watch it at MWK without it being digitized. But Hell will have to freeze over first.

The image in my head of this video has made me laugh so hard that I hurt now. My imagination might be worse than the reality.

Or maybe not...

Trust me, it's not.

NO trust me, it's not!

Hahahaha.
