I leave work early today to go meet the cable guy. I decided I could afford to get broad band at my house, so I called and set it up yesterday. Somehow in the course of the conversation the lady talked me into getting cable. I've decided to try it for a few months and see how much enjoyment I get out of it.

I originally cancelled my cable and internet to help with my debt retirement. I'm way ahead right now and have a good handle on my monthly budget, so I decided to have them re-installed.

I really wish you could cherry-pick what cable channels that you want and pay accordingly. I'm sure that's not really feasible, but wouldn't it be nice? Then I wouldn't have to have Lifetime or the History Channel just to get MTV or FX. Bah.

It's about freakin' time! Geez, I'm getting so sick of having to describe every episode of the Golden Girls reruns after church on Sunday.

And hey, the History Channel has some great stuff! Just wait...you'll be watching Wild West Tech before you know it.
