My Report on Nacho Libre
By Patrick Drury
By Patrick Drury
Nacho Libre is a movie about a man named Ignacio. Ignacio is a monk, but he really wants to be a luchadore. Luchadore is a Mexican word that means, "Spider-Man." One day while in town, Ignacio met the kid from Jungle Book and they became friends. Ignacio told him to become a luchadore too. Ignacio was in love with a nun named Incarnacio. Loving nuns is a sin. There was a lot of salad in this movie. I thought this was strange because if Ignacio ate so much salad, why is he so fat? The moral of this movie was not to hate orphans, but I still do. I liked this movie and would see it again.

I was a little hesitant to see this movie, but this wonderful movie review and picture has changed my mind.
When we walked in last night we had no idea that it was a Nickelodian movie. When I saw that I got this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I was sure it was going to suck.
It didn't suck, though. It didn't suck at all. It's a little like Napoleon Dynamite in it's humor. I don't think the rest of the theatre got it. They seemed to laugh after Sara, ET, and I would laugh.
It was co-written and directed by the guy who did Napoleon Dynamite.
Back in the day, I saw a movie in the theater where nobody laughed except for me. That movie? Billy Madison. Who's laughing now people? Who's laughing now.
I liked Jack Black in this movie because with the exception of the singing bits, he didnt' act like Jack Black. Very impressive. He also acted a lot with his hair.
I liked his side-kick a lot too. "I believe only in science!"
Then he followed it up with "Go reeed some boooks."
Awesome.
