true tales of tuesday night

Last night I treated myself to a steak and some green onions on the grill and a bottle of red wine. It was awesome.

Dirty came over and we watched TV. We watched Attack of The Show, which is some pop-culture news show on G4. They have a hot chick on it, who you're supposed to believe is into all the things that guys enjoy, like video games and action movies, but the fact that she never took her eyes off the cue cards, or even tried to inject a little enthusiasm into her delivery kind of put the lie to all that.

After that we watched a little bit of Fear Factor, then Last Comic Standing. The less said about either of those shows the better.

But then. Then we stumbled upon a show called King of Cars. It was a reality show all about this fat guy that owns a Dodge dealership in Las Vegas. One of their salesmen is Indian and he puts on blue body paint, dresses up like a genie and humps cars. It was, in a word, awesome. At first I didn't think the big fat guy (Chopper is his name) was going to be likeable. He wears expensive suits (but works at a Dodge dealership...), has one of those stupid pencil thin jaw beards, and talks like a rapper. By all appearances, he's a douche. But as the show went on you got to see how well he treats his customers and employees (aside from the terrible Blue Genie bit) and you kind of start to see him as a nice, likable guy.

I've seen King of Cars. The episode I saw had the Indian Guy in a sales funk. So Chopper decided to have him sell cars as the Blue Genie. Let's just say his sales for the day sky rocketed.

One of the episodes we were watching last night had the Blue Genie trying to get a girl's number. She told him she'd give it to him before she left, then she snuck out.
