playlist 7/9/06
And The Healing Has Begun - Van Morrison
Heartbeats - Jose Gonzales
Black & Blue - Counting Crows
Night Swimning - R.E.M.
Cannonball - Damien Rice
Picture In A Frame - Tom Waits
Sooner - My Morning Jacket
This playlist is thanks to Sara. She put together a big one for us to listen to this weekend and these were my favorites from it.
It should also be noted that And The Healing Has Begun is possibly the most perfect song ever. If your only experience with Van Morrison is Brown Eyed Girl or Moondance, you should download and listen to this song. I discovered it for the first time almost exactly a year ago. It's just recently re-emerged on my iPod. It makes me want to stay out late, drive with my windows down, and talk in low, dirty tones in Sara's ear.
I thought you considered Damien Rice too sad to listen to. It's good to see you might be changing your mind.
Did I say that?
You can't really believe anything I say from one day to the next. Seriously, I'm full of crap.
