catch up

After being down for a week I feel the need to catch everybody up on the past few days. I realize there's no genuine need or demand for it, but if blogs aren't made for self-absorbtion what are they made for? Let's go:

Last week: Sara and I joined a gym. I quit my gym about six months ago to focus on debt. The debt snowball is rolling down a hill like a runaway train, so I decided it was okay to spend some money on my good health. Also, got a great deal on membership so that made it even easier to justify.

Weekend

Friday - Adsprad came over to help me fiddle with my new web space. He was really helpful and left me some useful resource books. He also left his backpack. Come get your backpack, Adsprad. The temptation to look through it has almost conquered me. Dirty came over later that night after work. We played a game called, "Which of Adsprad's Myspace friends has he almost dated."

Saturday - Volunteered at St. Awesome's. Ranted about Mel Gibson. Blamed the Jews for some technical problems with the video equipment. After church went to see Talladega Nights with Sara. Thought it was funny. The dinner table scene was the highlight. Actually, I take it back, the Borat movie trailer before Talladega Nights was the highlight. Also: JACKASS 2!!!

Sunday - Volunteered at St. Awesome's. Had lunch with my friend Troy and his family. It was nice seeing them and I wish we'd had longer to talk.

This week:

Monday - Started a Roth IRA. Look at me being all responsible and grown-up.

Tuesday - Scott Glascock came over and helped me solve some ftp problems with the new web space. Scott can do anything. I gave him my last Corona as a sign of solidarity and appreciation.

Wednesday - Went over to GG's house with The Colonel and No Nick Name Fred. GG lives on the side of a mountain overlooking a deep canyon. Standing on his deck is terrifying. GG and Fred had to spend the whole night listening to The Colonel and I trying to sound smarter than each other. They're troopers.

Thursday - Made guacamole with Sara. It was really good. I can now make salsa, black bean Salsa, a sour cream and dill sauce, hummus, and guacamole. I am the king of dips. Wait... After dinner went to the Colonel's and recorded the new Reverb Radio podcast with he and Mrs. Colonel.

Friday - Went to work and wrote recap of my past week on my blog. Realized how mundane and crappy my life is and decided to end it all. Goodbye cruel world. Good b...

Did you know that Borat played the French driver in Ricky Bobby? Chew on that...its delicious.

Yes. Yes, I did. Did you know he's also the guy who plays Ali G? And he's marrying Isle Fischer?

It's all true.

It is all true! For those of you who don't know Isle Fischer, she was the one that Vince Vaughn married in Wedding Crashers.

Did you know that you guys are fags?

Everyone else does.
