column
New column up at the Harlan Daily. It's about loving your neighbors. Even the crazy ones.
Jesus never had to deal with a neighbor on a three day cocaine and MD 20/20 bender. I bet if he did, he would have said, "Love most of your neighbors as yourself"
See, I really need to start reading a modern paraphrase of the Bible.
When I was there for MWK2, your next door neighbor said you weren't home cause an ambulance came by and took you to the hospital.
Did she really?
Yeah. You weren't there, and Aquaman and I were rolling up to your crib. I didn't want to make direct eye contact with your neighbor, but she started the convo.
She said, "Patrick isn't there?"
"Where is he?"
"An ambulance took him away for alcohol poisoning."
"Okie dokie freak!"
"What did you say?"
"Sounds good! Take care!"
"You too Asian boy!"
With the talk of how crazy she was before I got there, I felt a little intimidated when I saw her. When we first got there, she seemed pretty nice. Then that convo took place and everything went downhill. She has a wicked staring problem.
