New column up at the Harlan Daily. It's about Kitty O'Shea's and the end of an era.


That was a great column. I've been to Lexington 3 times. Aquaman's wedding, MWK, and MWK2. I'm proud to say that all three times I've gone to Kitty's with you and the gang. I know my memories at Kitty's don't even come close to yours, but the ones I do have are great.  


Thanks man. I'm glad you got to be a part of the whole thing in it's prime.  


Oh...I thought it was great! I've seen both sides of Kitty's, the empty bar to yourself, and the packed shoulder to shoulder scene. I had a blast no matter the scene.

The first Kitty's experience was before Aquaman's wedding. We were there for two nights, and it wasn't packed. I just remember how hilarious Apperson was talking to all the locals.

Second time was at MWK. Met the crew for the first time, and had a blast. I got hammered, and saw my evil twin. It was kinda packed, but we were still in our own world having fun. I was hammered.

Third time was MWK2. The PBR was on sale, but had that rusty smell. The bar wasn't packed, but still got tipsy, joked about the police chases on the television, and then went to White Castle afterwards.

Good times!  


Yeah, he's at that place across the road from Shamrock's. The one you and the Colonel wandered over to at MWK2. I think he's only there on Mon and Tues night, though, from what he said.  


I think it was Aquaman and Kup that wandered. Then the Colonel did the ol' let me go check on these guys over there at the other bar and get away from these douchebags I'm hanging out with.  


I get all the jerks from MWK confused.
