I was watching tv for a few minutes before I went to bed last night. I flipped onto one of those post-Emmy shows on E! and one of the hosts was talking about her dress. When asked who it was by she said Melissa Sweet, a wedding dress designer, who she said is the new Vera Wang.

I went to high school with Melissa Sweet. I used to go to concerts with her brother. Small world.


It would be totally awesome if her brother was Matthew Sweet but no, sadly, that's not the case.

Still, maybe you could just be happy for me that for a brief shining moment my otherwise mundane life seemed a little more interesting. Even if it was only that I was illuminated by the brightness of another person's star.  


Is her brother Michael Sweet from Stryper?  


Are you sure it's the same person. I mean, I bet there are more than on Melissa Sweets in the world. And a designer from l-burg? Come on!  


Wait...I just googled her and she is from the L-Burg!!! Wow. I stand corrected. Was she that hot in high school?  


You're the second person to doubt me on this, today. Like I just hear a name on television and assume it's somebody I know! She's been a sucessful wedding dress designer for some time now - this is just the first time I've heard her name on television.

She was pretty cute in highschool.  


I just googled her too....if you know what I mean.
