weekend
Got in late from Chicago on Friday night. Went to bed.
Saturday I woke up late and wrote a little. Met Sara at her place when she got off work. Watched the episode of The Office that I'd missed on Sara's brand new DVR. I wouldn't spring for one, so she talked her mom into it. I am a bad boyfriend. After that we went out for Mexican and then used a couple of free movie passes to see Jackass 2. I laughed til I almost puked. Then I felt a little ashamed of myself. I can't recommend or discourage you from seeing this movie enough. It is fantastic and terrible.
Sunday I spoke at the Reverb service at St. Awesome's. Next week is the final Reverb service and it's going to be a meal and sharing time. So that means my teaching is the last Reverb teaching ever. Talk about leaving with a bad taste in your mouth. Did anybody think that through? No Nick Name Fred? Hello? After church Kup, and ET, and I ate at Shamrocks. After lunch I went home for a nap. Dirty came over later to watch some TV. We tried to come up with a Halloween costume for him. No luck, though, so I'm opening the comment section for suggestions.
I think dirty would make an awesome Leprechaun. Go here and tell me that ain't a picture of Dirty on the right:

Also, in other Leprechaun news:

I like the Leprechaun idea, but let's not decide to quickly.
I was going to wear the scariest costume ever if I come, but since there is a sure-attender with no costume idea, I will share. Go to Kinko's with your autographed copy of Patchworks and blow it up (front and back) to like 3 feet by 5 feet. and glue it on some foam board and wear it like a sandwich board. SCARY!
If anyone does this, I will eject them from the party immediately and then go sob in the corner.
OK....no more talking about costume ideas....I've had to change my plans twice already b/c of this crap!
So sayeth the Colonel.
