-I had a new roof put on my house this weekend. I developed a leak in my bedroom a few months ago. I got up in the attic to check it out and I figured out pretty quick it was beyond my meager ability to repair. I got a couple of estimates for getting it fixed - which also included putting new shingles on my house since the old ones were nearly twenty years old. The first estimate was nearly $6000!!!! The second one was $2100. The third was $1500. Unfortunately, the third one came in pretty late and I had already agreed to the two grand. Now I have the prettiest, shiniest roof in my neighborhood. All my neighbors hate me. Again. Only this time it's because of how awesome my house looks and not because I refuse to put up drapes.

-Jason and Kristy E. from St. Awesome's invited Sara and I out to dinner with them last night. We went to this new Mongolian grill that opened up in Hamburg. It was really good. You go through this buffet of raw meats and vegetables, put them all in a bowl, pick out a sauce you like, then give the whole concotion to a guy who cooks the it on a big stone grill. Delicious. Jason and Kristy were a lot of fun. At one point, Sara and I were both laughing so hard we couldn't breathe. I'm surprised I didn't fart.

-These things always seem to look better in 3's but I didn't have a third topic.


I've noticed you mention your farts in a bunch of your posts lately. Is it something you want to talk about buddy?  


I need to see a doctor. A fart doctor.
