-I ordered a limited edition (200 made) Paul Pope print from Adhouse books. It came in the mail yesterday. It's signed by the artist. Awesome.
-In other Paul Pope news, he has a blog now: pulphope.blogspot.com
-It's been a slow week at my dad's oil change/detailing place, so they volunteered to detail my truck yesterday. Now it's all shiny and clean inside. Start the clock on how long that'll last.
-Last night I went to dinner with Sara and her family. They were celebrating her grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. Sara's grandad, Harvey, lives in an assisted living facility and unfortunately the place is under quarantine because of a stomach virus, so her grandmother, also named Sara, couldn't see him on their anniversary. It was sad. Over dinner she talked about their relationship. She said they never fought because they didn't know how. Harvey suffers from Alzhiemers, but in his moments of clarity it's really touching to watch him and his wife together. They dote on each other like kids in their twenties. He lights up when he sees her. Can you imagine maintaining that kind of intensity of feeling after 60 years? It's inspring.
