What a difference a week makes! If you read last week's weekend recap post then you know that my dodge ball team, the Tree Squirrels, lost every game we played last weekend.

Well, I'm happy to report that this week, we won every game but two, and won all of our matches (each match is best two out of three)! Winning felt strange and alien. I was afraid since our team was so used to losing we would be ungracious winners, strutting around the court, thrusting our hips at children, and mocking the losing teams - however, according to another team, we were all good-natured and fun to be around, so my fears were unfounded.

The only negatives associated with our victory were 1.) Dirty wasn't there and 2.) No Nick Name Fred hit me in the back of the head with a ball. He said it was an accident, but I think he's a liar. There will be a reckoning!

Also, I hit Vlad in the balls once. That was not an accident.


patricio i'm gonna hit you by "accident" on sunday and you will need to see a granologo after that.  


Ok Patch. I admit it. Everyone else on the team chipped in and give me $5 to clang you in the noggin.

In my defense- we DID win almost every game after that. So maybe I jarred your winner's instinct loose.

Aaw, who am I kidding? I can't be mad at you guys.

Oh, no, no, wait... yes, I can.
