Today's blogosphere buddies birthday boy is none other than the Colonel!

The Colonel turns 34 today. Thirty-four! Good lord that's old! Seriously!

I met the Colonel the same way I met Chris - through St. Awesome's.

After I met him, but before I really knew him, I stumbled across his blog one day and saw that we shared the same taste in music, comics, movies, and adult beverages. It was like he was my less sexy doppelganger. That's right, I said doppelganger.

Since then the Colonel and I have gotten really close. I've gotten to know his lovely wife Mrs. Colonel, and his adorable daughter, Lil Colonel, he helped me format my book, we did a podcast together, and I helped him move (that's the sign of true friendship there. If we're not close, don't ask me to help you move. I'll stab you).

So happy birthday to my friend the Colonel! You're another year older, wiser, and probably drunker. Have a great one buddy.


Though, he isn't what I expected when i first met him, he still turned out to be a really good guy. For this, I wish him a Happy Birthday and a Happy New Year... change your blog.
