So maybe you know Jon Favreau of Swingers fame is directing a movie version of popular Marvel comic book Iron Man. And maybe you know it's going to star Robert Downey Jr. as the millionaire, alcoholic industrialist turned Superhero Tony Stark aka Iron Man.

Or maybe you didn't know any of this but you still like to see pictures of bad ass suits of armor. If either of these is the case, this picture is for you:



From the picture, any good comic nerd will be able to tell you that this is the original prototype version of Tony Stark's Iron Man armor. This version appeared in the comics back in the 60's and has since given way to more modern looking designs over the years. No doubt the movie will follow the same pattern. Looks good.

It looks like something Andy Rooney would poop out. (meaning that Andy Rooney is a relic and his poop also looking old and rusty). And to add to that Robocop's suit looked way better.  


First of all, Hardik, you ignorant slut, the suit was designed in the 60's, so yeah it's gonna look a little antiquated. Also, in the stories, Tony Stark builds it out of spare parts while he's a war prisoner, so it's gonna look kinda lo-fi. I have no doubt the more modern versions that appear later in the film will look much different.

Also - Robocop? I repeat: You ignorant slut.

Just kidding. I've been wanting to use that ever since I heard Micahel Scott say it on Thursday.
