sunday valley at @ the kentucky theater
Went to the Kentucky Theater at midnight on Friday with Charlie The Intern, ET, and Dirty (plus one of Charlie's buddies) to see Sunday Valley play.
Going in I wasn't confident it was going to be one of my favorite shows. The room was so big, and even with sound dampening in place it just seemed like there was a lot of potential for sound to get lost in that ancient building. In addition to that, Sunday Valley shows aren't the kind of concerts where you want to be confined to a seat.
My fears, as it turns out, were unjustified. The seat problem and the sound issues were both solved by moving down to the front of the room between the seats and the stage. Ended up being one of their best shows yet. Pictures and a couple of short videos follow:
