sara sings

Sara sang her first solo at St. Awesome's ever this weekend. She did an awesome job. She did three services throughout the weekend. I only got to hear two of them, but they were both incredible. She was asked to sing a Martina McBride song - which resulted in the only instance I can ever imagine myself enjoying a Martina McBride song. I stood backstage on Saturday night and tried to get a good picture, but the angles were working against me:

Aaaanyway, good job darlin'.

Sad times! I was out of town and missed the superstar. Any chances there's some video of this anywhere?

I might be able to wrangle something like that up...

Sara was AWESOME!! GREAT JOB!

Sara was awesome!!! Thank goodness she has some talent to balance out the worthless waste you are.

I'm totally not a waste. Have you seen me play Jenga?

Also, thanks Kelly!

And the sound...I've never heard anything so good before.

I thought she sounded good in spite of the substandard sound mixing. It's like whoever the monkey behind the sound board was found a fader titled, "singing into a bucket" and pushed it all the way up.

Is that the one right next to the "suck" knob. I get those 2 confused.

I'm not sure. I'm mostly familiar with the video switcher - and on it the "suck" button is right next to the "Skip the first two minutes of the pre-recorded interview" button.

Speaking of knobs....would you two knobs shut up already! Go post your nerdy comments on the message board over at www.churchtechnerdz.com

I'm totally gonna buy that url and just use it to post pictures of me and Mateo.
