Sorry for the lack of posting over the last week. The shop was closed from Wednesday on, so I've been on vacation and as a result spending less time at the computer. The last few days have been great, though.

July 4th was spent with Sara's family and a handful of strays. I slow cooked some spare ribs and made a homemade barbecue sauce (recipe courtesy of Tyler Florence). We also grilled some chicken and corn on the cob. After we ate everybody sat around and played music for a while. I can be seen holding a harmonica in some of the pictures, but my playing amounted to two notes over and over again.



We eventually headed to Nicholasville to watch some fireworks but due to a mishap we spent the night facing the wrong direction.

Seriously.

I spent the next two days bumming around town. I went to CD Central, the comic book store, and one of the greatest restaurants in Lexington:


Time off is the ginchiest.
