happy birthday mrs. gg
Last week was Mrs. GG's birthday (she's the wife of blog regular GG, in case you didn't get it. Although, now that I think about it, GG read regularly but very rarely comments. What a jerk). GG threw her a great party with a ton of people. It wasn't a surprise and was never meant to be, but she still faked it for the pictures. There was cake, and guitar hero, and lots of sophisticated mingling. Pictures follow. Happy birthday Mrs. GG!

Jennifer used my camera to take a video of Sara and I playing Guitar Hero. It's not that exciting, but I just think Sara is so cute in it that I'm posted it anyway:
Looks like good times with Guitar Hero this weekend. I spent my weekend putting ice on my shoulder. Why was I doing that? Cause the Nintendo Wii is the poo!!!
I can't believe you have another video game to play now. When will you find time to poop and sleep?
Yeah, it was good to have everyone there. I know that she really appreciated it.
Also- I need to go ahead and apoligize for all of the people that I didn't ask to come. As many of you know, I was still asking people as I saw them at St. Awesome's one hour before the party.
And I'm very glad Mrs. Colonel got to come without her husband. The Colonel was the one person that I actually intended not to invite.
Thanks a lot for inviting me to the sophisticated mingling. I felt that I was woefully inadequate as a mingler, though, what with all of the challenging stares and my general sense of menace. By the way, I'm a trifle disgruntled since I now have to spend a great deal of money on my own game system in order to compete at future parties.
You wanna fit in, don't you? IT'S THE ONLY WAY!!
very fun party, way to go Greg! i know the carter family had a great time.
i have to say the funniest thing about the video is listening to jennifer and her big laugh!
I noticed Jennifer's laugh as well and I am sure she is going to love when she sees this video. I know I loved it!!
Hmmmm....what I find most interesting is that gg actually invited me, a person he didn't want to actually invite, yet failed to invite half the people that he was supposed to invite. I think that's called invitation dyslexia.
All I have to say it that thing worked out pretty well for me! Had a great time. Thanks GG.
It worked out well for all of us. More parties, less Colonel.
