August 7th: New Okkervil River album, Stage Names is out
August 8th, volume two of Matt Fraction's Casanova series begins
August 19th: Jennifer's birthday
August 20th: The Avett Brothers are performing at the Woodsongs Radio Hour

What'd I miss?
The new Okkervil River album is amazing. I pre-ordered it from jagjaguwar and was able to download a digital copy of the cd. I've been listening to it non-stop. Pitchfork just reviewed it this morning and gave it a higher score than Black Sheep Boy.
Looking forward to the show in September!
It's available for listening on Myspace and Amazon. For some reason I don't want to hear the whole thing until I have it in my hand. I'm weird that way. The two songs I have heard, though, are, in their own ways, totally awesome.
