be sure to set your dvr

Seriously, make sure you set it. Especially if you want to watch something on NBC, because due to a pricing dispute, iTunes will not be carrying any NBC programs this season. That means no Office or Heroes. iTunes was always my fallback on a lot of shows if I missed them the first time around, so this kind of sucks. You can still stream the shows from NBC's website, but you've got a limited time frame to catch them in to my understanding.

Of course, I'm sure some other vendor will pop up and offer to host the NBC shows, but I'm sure it'll be at a higher price point.

That sucks. You can always watch certain shows online the next day on NBCs website. Hopefully it will get resolved.

Did you get any of the DVDs on Tuesday. I got Heroes, Friday Night Lights, 30 Rock, and The Office on DVD this week.

No, not yet. Sara's mom got Heroes and The Office, so I didn't feel too compelled to snag my own copies.

I thought of you when I read the iTunes thing because I know you used to download all the Office episodes.

Since I travel, I liked having the updated shows on the iPod to watch at my leisure. That's too bad. If you want, I'll try to make you "back up" copies of 30 Rock if you're interested.

Also, you watch Robot Chicken? I got those too.

You know, I never thought Robot Chicken was that funny.

You can still download NBC shows, just via Amazon Unbox or whatever... you can check it out by going to this site:

You too JC?

I loved Friday Night Lights.

Did it get renewed?

FNL has been renewed, and the season starts Oct 5th. The last episode had so many unanswered questions. I won't spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen it, but I can't wait to see what happens.
