sam and nathan: on the road
As many of you may know, Sara's brother Sam Handwich and her step-brother Nathan are traveling across the United States in a van.
They first left a few days before Thanksgiving but made it about two hours away before transmission problems brought their adventures to a temporary halt. After a few days at home, one thousand dollars in repairs, and a Thanksgiving dinner the boys were back on the road and headed for California. The long way.
The Colonel suggested that I should get the boys to text me road-updates from their smoke-filled mini-van. I thought this was a great idea. Here's Sam Handwich's fist three log entries. Formatting and spelling are left unchanged:
that could be the best thing ive read in a while. granted i dont much read.
Yeah, I'm kinda sad, though, because you know none of the future updates will be as great as "a deer hit the side of the van."
This is even better than I ever imagined....if they could leave some voice mails to reenact the deer hitting the 'side' of the van this would be better than Lost!
