sickness update
Back at work today after being out for two days in a row. Feeling much better but not great. Not sure what I had. I was running a fever, was coughing a lot, and my body ached. Is that the flu?
Used the down time to catch up on sleep and the Wire Season Five. A couple of episodes in I was enjoying it but couldn't figure out why people said it was the best thing on TV. Now, after eight episodes, I get it. Soooo good.
Thanks to everybody who checked on me via Facebook and email.
I shall refrain from commenting because there are sooooo many things I could say about your sickness, but since I have already "declassed" your classy blog, I will be silent.
It's very hard.
Glad you're better, though because you have to direct tomorrow.
I can pretty much guess what you were gonna say and you're a terrible person.
Hey, I can't direct tomorrow, you'll have to cover for me. Okay? Thanks! You're a sweetheart. Flapjack no tradebacks!
F.A.C.T.S. of the FLU.
Fever
Aches
Chills
Tiredness
Sudden Symptoms
I think I had the flu a couple weeks ago and it turned into a cold... how that happens, I don't know. I went to the doctor and they said that I probably didn't have the flu, because this year's flu is supposed to be REALLY bad. So if you just felt sorta crappy, you probably didn't have the flu. Apparently fever can accompany the cold, too.
Those symptoms sound like what I had. I felt as bad as I've ever felt for a day or so. I can't remember ever missing two days of work in a row due to sickness. I've recovered fairly quickly, though (not completely). So who knows.
I see you're now denying that you either had Pac Man Fever or Herpes. If you're going to seek second opinions in the future then I no longer care to be your primary care physician.
Deny is such a harsh word.... and if i've offended you in someway that you will no longer be acting as my primary care physician... well, then that's okay.
