Today is the Colonel's birthday!




If you've been around this blog very long at all then you've no doubt experienced the Colonel. Besides being a big part of things here at Patchdrury.com, the Colonel is also a big part of my life off the net. He and his wife, Mrs. Colonel, are a two of Sara's and my best friends and their kids Lily and Harry are some of the cutest munchkins to ever escape the Lollipop forest. The Colonel is funny, smart, easy to talk to, and likes all the nerdy things I do. It sounds like I'm in love with him when I say that. Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Frankly it's none of your business. Anyway, it's his birthday today, so you have to do whatever he says. So, you know, try to avoid him, 'cause you just know he's gonna want you to do something you don't want to do.

Thanks man. Maybe one day we'll live in a society that's open to the love between two heterosexual men like ours...until then, we'll have to keep extra quiet about it. I mean, your post almost blew our cover!
