Austin City looks awesome! So does Lollapalooza this year! www.lollapalooza.com/

in your haste you somehow forgot to highlight the foo, n.e.r.d., manu chao and the mars volta.

there, i fixed it.

carry on.

I would like to hang out with Dave Grohl because he seems cool, but I'm kinda "meh" about their music these days. I like the occasional N.E.R.D. song but the idea of seeing them in person doesn't thrill me.

I have no idea who Manu Chao is.

And I tried to get into Mars Volta on your recommendation, but can't remember what I ended up thinking about them. I'll have to try again.

Mars Volta is the Mars Metal!!! And that's a good thing!

Next time you do a post about music, please do it in English. I couldn't understand a word of this one!

How's this?

"Michael W. Smith, Whiteheart, Bryan Duncan."

This post and associated comments reminds me of a topic that you are the exact person to ask about it. Sessions at West 54, hosted by David Byrne, was an incredible sampling of a variety of music during its brief existence. (not to mention outstanding audio production for a television broadcast) There were several performances on there that were unforgettable, but one of the most impressive for me was Beck. I had never taken him seriously until his appearance on the show. I was just curious if you ever happened across the show in your media exploration. I wish it was still around, and there is very little talk about it other than a sample DVD or two available at Amazon.
