New column up at the Harlan Daily. It's about the Connies.

I actually got in trouble once in grade school because a teacher thought I was being "smart" with her when I said both my parents were named Connie. I also recall numerous instances in which people thought they were correcting me by saying, no I mean your father's name not your mother's name.
People think it's all fun and games when your parents have the same name, but as Jeff has clearly just demonstrated, it comes with it's own set of problems.
Great article! I don't know them well but your mom and dad have always seemed to be great people.
