another one bites the dust

I honestly have no idea who I'm voting for this November; probably a third party candidate the way things are going.  Sarah Palin, who seems to be benefitting from the same Beatle-Mania that Barack was on the receiving end of a few months back, just hurt her ticket's chances with the following video:

I've always had a pet peeve about people ascribing "God's Will" to things that are really their will. Now maybe Palin has an insight into the mind of God that I don't (which I am more than willing to accept) but a natural gas pipeline? Yikes!

I love ya Patch, but I don't think that's exactly fair......I can tell you who to vote for if you can't make up your mind!

I love you too, and you may be right. I looked around for a while for a longer clip that might provide a little more context but couldn't find it. And there's always the possibility that I misunderstood what she was trying to say.

If not, though, I really find the idea of a politician standing in front of a church and referring to one of her initiatives as "God's will" to be cynical and manipulative. It really does hurt their chances with me.

She also says the Iraq war is a 'Task from God'.

UGH! just quit talking politics. this stuff really upsets me. i thought she was saying the only way to get everyone to come together would be because of God.

i just have a hard time hearing obama say if someone spends 10 minutes with him they would vote for him. really? my uncle was his private pilot who had one on one conversations with him (for 2 days over a year ago). he is not voting for him.

ok, i just need to stop. but i love you!

I love you too, darlin'.

In the spirit of fairness, here's the full clip. With that said, I'm sticking with separation of church and state and hamburger over mooseburger. :)
